If you’re a mum with kids, or maybe you’ve recently been pregnant and been through child birth, it can be incredibly unsafe to return to the gym too soon while your joints are still lax and your muscles are significantly deconditioned.   It is always recommended that you seek specialist guidance from a professional who understands the precautions following labor and pregnancy.

I started Sweat Lab because after having a baby, I struggled with the frustrations of being so weak, at a time when I needed to be at my strongest to be the new mum I wanted to be.  I wanted to have the physical and mental strength to enjoy it and not be fatigued and sore all – the – time. But getting to the gym was pretty impossible, and paying for 1:1 sessions to be able to have my baby with me was too expensive. So here we are, an environment where you can come early, get settled, get your baby ready, and spend some time on yourself, with tailored classes to work on making a mothers day easier, or a service that comes to you, or your small group to give you what you need to move forward as a new mum.
